Hadith 999
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تُجْنِبُ، ثُمَّ تَحِيضُ، قَالَ: "تَغْتَسِلُ".
It is narrated from Imam Ibrahim Nakha'i, may Allah have mercy on him, regarding a woman who becomes junub (in a state of major ritual impurity) and then menstruates, he said: She will perform ghusl (ritual bath for janabah).
Hadith 1000
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، مِثْلَهُ.
The same is narrated from Imam Hasan, may Allah have mercy on him, as mentioned previously.
Hadith 1001
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ: "الْحَيْضُ أَكْبَرُ".
Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Menstruation is a greater matter than janabah (major ritual impurity).
Hadith 1002
أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي رَجُلٍ غَشِيَ امْرَأَتَهُ فَحَاضَتْ، فَقَالَ: "تَغْتَسِلُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ".
It is narrated from Imam Ibrahim, may Allah have mercy on him, regarding a man who has intercourse with his wife, then she experiences menstruation, he said: In my view, it is better that she performs ghusl (ritual bath).
Hadith 1003
أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، وَالنَّخَعِيِّ، قَالَا: "لِتَغْتَسِلْ مِنْ الْجَنَابَةِ" .
Ata and Nakha'i, may Allah have mercy on them both, said: Such a woman will perform ghusl (ritual bath) for janabah.
Hadith 1004
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الْأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ.
The same is narrated from Imam Hasan, may Allah have mercy on him (i.e., that taking a bath is better).
Hadith 1005
أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ عَنْهَا حَمَّادٌ، فَقَالَ: قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ: "تَغْتَسِلُ".
Hammad was asked about this matter, so he said: Imam Ibrahim, may Allah have mercy on him, said that she should perform ghusl for janabah.
Hadith 1006
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ ابْنِ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ: "تَغْتَسِلُ".
Imam Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: That woman will perform ghusl (ritual bath).
