Hadith 873
Ata said about the old woman who experiences bleeding: We do not consider it menstruation.
Hadith 874
It is narrated from Ata regarding a woman who had not menstruated for thirty years, then she saw blood, so he gave her the ruling of a mustahadah (a woman with non-menstrual bleeding). (That is, she is under the ruling of a mustahadah; she will perform ghusl and wudu and offer prayers.)
Hadith 875
Ata said: If an elderly woman experiences bleeding, she is subject to the same ruling as a mustahadah (a woman with non-menstrual bleeding), and she should act as a mustahadah does.
Hadith 876
It is narrated from Ata and Hakam bin Utaibah regarding an old woman whose menstruation has stopped and she experiences bleeding, that she should perform ablution and offer prayer; she does not need to perform ghusl. Imam Darimi, may Allah have mercy on him, was asked about such a woman, and he replied: She should perform ablution and offer prayer, and if she is divorced, she will observe her waiting period according to months.
