Hadith 831
Sumayy said: I asked Sa'id bin al-Musayyib about the woman with continuous bleeding (mustahadah), so he said: She will sit (refrain from prayer) during the days of menstruation, and she will perform ghusl once a day from Zuhr to Zuhr, and she will tie a cloth (to prevent the blood), her husband may have intercourse with her, and she will also fast. Sumayy said: Has anyone said this? So he picked up small pebbles.
Hadith 832
Yahya bin Saeed narrated from Saeed bin Al-Musayyib that (a woman with continuous bleeding) will perform ghusl once from one Dhuhr to the next Dhuhr, and for every prayer she will (only) perform wudu. If the bleeding increases, she should tie a cloth. Imam Hasan Al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, also said the same.
Hadith 833
Qaqa' bin Hakim and Zaid bin Aslam sent Sumi to Sa'id bin al-Musayyib to ask him about a woman with continuous bleeding (mustahadah): how should she perform ghusl (ritual bath)? Sa'id said: She should perform ghusl once for the period from one Dhuhr (noon prayer) to the next day's Dhuhr. If the blood is excessive, she should tie a cloth around herself and perform wudu (ablution) and then offer the prayer.
Hadith 834
It is narrated from Imam Hasan, may Allah have mercy on him, regarding the mustahadah (a woman experiencing non-menstrual vaginal bleeding) that she will perform (one) ghusl from Zuhr until the next day’s Zuhr.
Hadith 835
Imam Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, said: The woman experiencing istihada will refrain from prayer during her menstrual days, then she will perform one ghusl from Dhuhr to Dhuhr, and suffice with ablution for each prayer. She will fast, perform prayer, and her husband may have intercourse with her.
Hadith 836
Abbad bin Mansur narrated from Hasan and Ata in the same manner.

It is narrated from Masruq’s (may Allah have mercy on him) wife, Qameer, that Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said regarding the woman experiencing istihada (non-menstrual bleeding) that she should perform ghusl once every day.
Hadith 838
It is narrated from Nafi‘ that Sayyiduna Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say: A mustahadah woman will perform ghusl from one Zuhr to the next Zuhr. Marwan said: This is also the opinion of Imam Awza‘i (may Allah have mercy on him).

It is narrated from Abdul Karim (bin Malik Jazari), Saeed bin Al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) said: A woman experiencing istihada will perform ghusl for the first prayer of each day.
