باب لاَ وُضُوءَ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدَثٍ:
Chapter: No Ablution Except After Breaking It
Hadith 744
أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "إِذَا وَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ حَرَكَةً فِي دُبُرِهِ، فَأَشْكَلَ عَلَيْهِ أَحْدَثَ أَوْ لَمْ يُحْدِثْ، فَلَا يَنْصَرِفَنَّ حَتَّى يَسْمَعَ صَوْتًا، أَوْ يَجِدَ رِيحًا".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you feels movement in his buttocks during prayer and it becomes difficult for him to be certain whether his ablution has broken or not, he should not break his prayer until he hears a sound or perceives a smell."
