باب الْوُضُوءِ لِكُلِّ صَلاَةٍ:
Chapter: Ablution for Every Prayer
Hadith 743
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "يَتَوَضَّأُ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ"، وَكَانَ أَحَدُنَا يَكْفِيهِ الْوُضُوءُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ.
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ablution for every prayer, and for each of us, one ablution would suffice until something that breaks ablution occurred (such as urination, defecation, sleep, etc.).
