Hadith 735
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I asked my maternal aunt, Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), about the ritual bath (ghusl) of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) after major impurity. She said: A vessel of water would be brought, he (peace be upon him) would pour water from his right hand onto his left hand, then wash his private parts and wherever there was impurity, then perform ablution as he would for prayer, then wash his head and his entire body, then move from that place and wash his feet, then a towel would be brought and he would place it in front of himself, and would shake off the water with his fingers and would not touch the towel with his hand.
