باب: «وَيْلٌ لِلأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ»:
Chapter: "Woe to the Heels from the Fire"
Hadith 729
أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرٌ هُوَ ابْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنْ النَّارِ، أَسْبِغُوا الْوُضُوءَ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Woe to the heels from the Fire, so perform ablution thoroughly.”
Hadith 730
أَخْبَرَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: كَانَ يَمُرُّ بِنَا وَالنَّاسُ يَتَوَضَّئُونَ مِنْ الْمِطْهَرَةِ، وَيَقُولُ: "أَسْبِغُوا الْوُضُوءَ"، قَالَ: أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّي اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنْ النَّارِ"، قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد: هَذَا أَعْجَبُ إِلَيَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو.
Muhammad bin Ziyad said: I heard Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, who was passing by us while people were performing ablution from a water jug, and he was saying: "Perform ablution thoroughly. Abu al-Qasim (the Prophet), peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Woe to the dry heels from the Fire.'" Abu Muhammad said: This narration is, in my view, more preferable than the narration of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr, may Allah be pleased with him.
