باب الْوُضُوءِ مَرَّتَيْنِ:
Chapter: Ablution Twice
Hadith 717
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَخَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى الْمَازِنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ زَيْدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ "دَعَا بِتَوْرٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَأَكْفَأَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ فَغَسَلَهُمَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا، وَيَدَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ" . .
Amr bin Yahya Mazni narrates from his father that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (who is Amr’s grandfather) asked for a water jug, first poured water on his hands and washed them three times (in Bukhari, it is mentioned twice), then washed his face three times, then washed his hands up to the elbows twice each, then said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) performing ablution in this manner.
Hadith 718
أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوًا مِنْهُ . .
The above-mentioned manner of ablution has been narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
