باب النَّهْيِ عَنْ الاِسْتِنْجَاءِ بِعَظْمٍ وَرَوْثٍ:
Chapter: Prohibition of Cleaning with Bones or Dung
Hadith 695
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي الْمُخَارِقِ، عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ مِنْ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ مَوْلَى سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ: "أَنْتَ رَسُولِي إِلَى أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ، فَقُلْ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكُمْ السَّلَامَ، وَيَأْمُرُكُمْ أَنْ لَا تَسْتَنْجُوا بِعَظْمٍ، وَلَا بِبَعْرَةٍ"، قَالَ أَبُو عَاصِمٍ مَرَّةً: وَيَنْهَاكُمْ أَو يَأْمُرُكُمْ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Hunaif (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "You are my envoy and messenger to the people of Makkah, so tell them that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sends you greetings of peace and commands you not to use bones or dung for istinja (purification)." In one narration, Abu Asim said: «ينهاكم أو يأمركم» .
