Hadith 692
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْخَلَاءَ، قَالَ: "اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْخُبْثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would enter the toilet (to relieve himself), he would recite this supplication: «اللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ» meaning, "O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the male and female devils."
