It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man was strutting about in his two garments, so Allah Almighty caused the earth to swallow him up, and he will keep sinking in it until the Day of Resurrection." A young man said, mentioning the name of the one who was in his garment (hullah), "O Abu Hurairah! Was that young man who was swallowed while walking, walking in this manner?" Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) struck his hand, so he staggered and almost fell to pieces. Then Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "May Allah throw him down on his face," and recited: «﴿إِنَّا كَفَيْنَاكَ الْمُسْتَهْزِئِينَ﴾» [الحجر: 95/15] meaning, "We are sufficient for you against those who mock."

Khirash bin Jubair said: I saw a young man in the mosque who was throwing pebbles. An old man said to him: Do not throw pebbles, I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbidding the throwing of pebbles. The young man was negligent and thought that the old man was not watching him, so he started throwing pebbles again. The old man said to him: I narrate to you a hadith that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbidding the throwing of pebbles, and yet you are doing the same? By Allah, I will neither attend your funeral, nor visit you if you fall ill, nor ever speak to you. I said to my companion, whose name was Muhajir: Go to Khirash and ask him. So he went to him and asked about this, and he narrated this hadith to him as well (i.e., he confirmed it).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade throwing pebbles and said: "This pebble can neither hunt a bird nor harm an enemy, except that it may break a tooth or gouge out an eye." Then Sa'id bin Jubair and a person who was related to him by kinship, he picked something up from the ground and said: What importance can this have? Sa'id bin Jubair said: Do you not see that I am narrating to you the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and yet you consider it insignificant? I will never speak to you again.

Abdullah bin Buraidah said: Our master Abdullah bin Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) saw one of his companions throwing pebbles. So he said: Do not throw pebbles, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade throwing pebbles. (In another narration) he did not like throwing pebbles. Also, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "With it, neither can an enemy be harmed nor can game be hunted, but it may sometimes put out an eye or break a tooth." After that, he again saw him throwing pebbles, so he said: Did I not tell you that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade it? Even so, I see you throwing pebbles. By Allah, I will never speak to you again.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If any of your wives seeks permission to go to the mosque, do not prevent her." One of Abdullah's sons said: "By Allah, I will certainly prevent her at this time." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) turned towards him and rebuked him so harshly that I had never heard him rebuke anyone like that before. Then he said: "I narrate to you the hadith of the Messenger of Allah, and yet you say, 'By Allah, we will prevent her at this time.'"
Hadith 457
Abu al-Mukhariq said that Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioned that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade taking two dirhams in exchange for one dirham. A man said, "If it is done in cash (immediate exchange), I do not see any harm in it." Upon this, Sayyiduna Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade it, and you say that you see no harm in it? By Allah, I will never sit with you under one roof."
Hadith 458
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not go to women at night." Hadith 459
It is narrated from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib, may Allah have mercy on him, that when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, returned from a journey, he stayed at Mu'arris, then he ordered: "Do not go to the women at night." But two men who had heard his command went out and knocked at the door of their house, and each of them found a man with his wife.

Abdur Rahman bin Harmalah said that a man came to Sa'id bin al-Musayyib, may Allah have mercy on him, to bid him farewell for Hajj or Umrah. Sa'id bin al-Musayyib, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "Do not leave the mosque without performing prayer, because the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'After the call to prayer, only a hypocrite flees from the mosque, except for a man who leaves the mosque out of necessity and intends to return to the mosque.'" The man said: "My companions are in Harrah," and he left. Sa'id, may Allah have mercy on him, kept asking about him with great concern until he was informed that the man had fallen from his mount and his thigh was broken.
