أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ: وَمَا تَغِيضُ الأَرْحَامُ سورة الرعد آية 8، قَالَ: "إِذَا حَاضَتْ الْمَرْأَةُ وَهِيَ حَامِلٌ، قَالَ: يَكُونُ ذَلِكَ نُقْصَانًا مِنْ الْوَلَدِ، فَإِذَا زَادَتْ عَلَى تِسْعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ، كَانَ تَمَامًا لِمَا نَقَصَ مِنْ وَلَدِهَا".
It is narrated from Abu Bishr that Mujahid said regarding «وما تغيض الأرحام»: When a pregnant woman experiences menstruation, it is a defect in the child, and when the pregnancy exceeds nine months, then what was deficient is made up in the child.
