It is narrated from Nabiya bin Wahb that Sayyiduna Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) came to Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), and the mention of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) began. Sayyiduna Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Every day seventy thousand angels descend and cover the grave of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with their wings and continue to send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Then when evening comes, they ascend (to the heavens), and other angels like them come and send blessings, until the earth will be split open and you will emerge from the grave, pushing aside seventy thousand angels.

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 94) This is the statement of Sayyiduna Ka‘b radi Allahu anhu, which is neither marfu‘ (attributed to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) nor authentic. There is an abundance of authentic ahadith regarding the virtues of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, for example, his being the leader of the Prophets and Messengers, his leading all the Prophets in prayer, and so on.
