Imam Darimi, may Allah have mercy on him, said: I read the narration of Malik bin Anas to Zaid bin Yahya and asked him about the woman whose period of menstruation is seven days and the blood continues, so he said: She will wait for three more days. (That is, she will be considered menstruating for up to ten days, then she will be regarded under the ruling of mustahadah.)
