Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Ahadith 892 to 896)
When a male or female Companion says, "We used to do such and such," then according to the principles of hadith, this is considered marfu‘ (attributed to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).
This means that after menstruation (hayd) has ceased and a ritual bath (ghusl) has been performed, any discharge that exits thereafter will not prevent prayer; the woman will perform ablution (wudu) and offer prayer.
