باب الطُّهْرِ كَيْفَ هُوَ:Chapter: How Purity is Achieved
Hadith 885
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق، قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ، قَالَتْ: "كُنَّا نَكُونُ فِي حِجْرِهَا فَكَانَتْ إِحْدَانَا تَحِيضُ ثُمَّ تَطْهُرُ فَتَغْتَسِلُ وَتُصَلِّي، ثُمَّ تَنْكُسُهَا الصُّفْرَةُ الْيَسِيرَةُ، فَتَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نَعْتَزِلَ الصَّلَاةَ حَتَّى لَا نَرَى إِلَّا الْبَيَاضَ خَالِصًا".
Fatimah bint al-Mundhir said: We were under the care (and upbringing) of Lady Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her), and when any of us would menstruate, then become pure, she would perform ghusl and pray. Then if a little yellowish discharge appeared, Lady Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) would order us to refrain from prayer until complete whiteness appeared.
