It is narrated from Hafs: Imam Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, used to say that the husband of a woman experiencing istihada (non-menstrual vaginal bleeding) should not have intercourse with her. Abu al-Nu'man said: Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Qattan said to me: I do not know that anyone has narrated this statement from Hasan.
