Hadith 849

It is narrated from Qatadah: Sa'id bin al-Musayyib, Hasan, and Ata said regarding the mustahadah (a woman with non-menstrual bleeding): She will perform ghusl and pray, she will fast in Ramadan, and her husband may have intercourse with her.

Brief Explanation
(Explanation of Ahadith 831 to 849)
From all these narrations, it is understood that a woman experiencing istihada (non-menstrual vaginal bleeding) will, after the duration of her menstrual period has passed, perform a ritual bath (ghusl), offer prayers, observe fasts, and her husband may also have intercourse with her.
This is the preferred (rajih) opinion.
