Imam Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, said: The woman experiencing istihada will refrain from prayer during her menstrual days, then she will perform one ghusl from Dhuhr to Dhuhr, and suffice with ablution for each prayer. She will fast, perform prayer, and her husband may have intercourse with her.
