It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when «﴿إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ﴾» (Surah An-Nasr: 1/110) was revealed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) and said: "News of my death has been given to me." She began to weep, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not weep, among my family you will be the first to join me." Then she became happy. Some of the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw her and asked: "O Fatimah! We saw you weeping, then you laughed?" She replied: "He informed me that news of his death had been given to him, so I wept. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Do not weep, among my family you will be the first to join me.' Upon hearing this, I became happy." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The help of Allah and victory has come, and the people of Yemen have also come." A man asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Who are the people of Yemen?" He replied: "They are people of gentle hearts, and faith is that of the Yemenis, and wisdom is also Yemeni."
