أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهَا أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ امْرَأَةً وَهِيَ تَسْأَلُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُ بِثَوْبِهَا إِذَا طَهُرَتْ مِنْ مَحِيضِهَا ؟، قَالَ: "إِنْ رَأَيْتِ فِيهِ دَمًا فَحُكِّيهِ، ثُمَّ اقْرُصِيهِ، ثُمَّ انْضَحِي فِي سَائِرِ ثَوْبِكِ، ثُمَّ صَلِّي فِيهِ".
Fatimah bint al-Mundhir narrated from her grandmother (or maternal grandmother) Sayyidah Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard a woman asking the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), she was saying: When she becomes pure from menstruation, what should she do with her clothes? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you see blood on it, first scrape it off, then rub it with water and wash it, then pour water over the entire garment, then you can pray in it."
Brief Explanation

From this hadith, it is understood that if menstrual blood gets on a garment, it can be cleaned and washed, and then prayer can be performed in it, as is mentioned in other authentic narrations: Sayyida Aisha and Sayyida Umm Salamah (radi Allahu anhuma) stated that during the time of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), this would happen to them, and they would wash the garment and then pray in it, as will be mentioned ahead in Chapter 105.
From this hadith, it is understood that if menstrual blood gets on a garment, it can be cleaned and washed, and then prayer can be performed in it, as is mentioned in other authentic narrations: Sayyida Aisha and Sayyida Umm Salamah (radi Allahu anhuma) stated that during the time of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), this would happen to them, and they would wash the garment and then pray in it, as will be mentioned ahead in Chapter 105.
