Hadith 718

أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوًا مِنْهُ . .
The above-mentioned manner of ablution has been narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

Brief Explanation

From this hadith, it is understood that if, while performing ablution (wudu), some limbs are washed three times and some limbs are washed two times, even then the ablution is valid, and there is no harm in it.
