باب الْوُضُوءِ مِنَ الْمِيضَأَةِ:Chapter: Ablution from a Basin
Hadith 713
أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "يَأْتِينَا فِي مَنْزِلِنَا، فَآخُذُ مِيضَأَةً لَنَا تَكُونُ مُدًّا وَثُلُثَ مُدٍّ، أَوْ رُبُعَ مُدٍّ فَأَسْكُبُ عَلَيْهِ فَيَتَوَضَّأُ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا".
Sayyida Rabi’ bint Mu’awwidh (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to come to our house, so I would take a jug from my house which held one mudd and a third mudd or a quarter mudd of water, and I would pour the water, and he would wash the parts of wudu three times each.
