It is narrated from Awn bin Abdullah that the students of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) came to him, so he said to them: "Do you hold gatherings?" They replied: "We never abandon it." He asked: "Do you visit one another?" They replied: "Yes, O Abu Abdur Rahman! If any one of us does not see his companion, he goes to the farthest edge of Kufa to see him." Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "As long as you continue to do so, you will remain in goodness."
