أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ: "كُنَّا نَأْتِي جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، فَإِذَا خَرَجْنَا مِنْ عِنْدِهِ تَذَاكَرْنَا، فَكَانَ أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَحْفَظَنَا لِحَدِيثِهِ".
Ata said: We used to go to Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them), and when we would return from him, we would discuss among ourselves. Also, Abu az-Zubair was the most memorizing of hadith among us.
