أَخْبَرَنَا
حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا
حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا
ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ
أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
"أَزْهَرَ اللَّوْنِ كَأَنَّ عَرَقَهُ اللُّؤْلُؤُ، إِذَا مَشَى تَكَفَّأَ، وَمَا مَسِسْتُ حَرِيرَةً وَلَا دِيبَاجَةً أَلْيَنَ مِنْ كَفِّهِ، وَلَا شَمِمْتُ رَائِحَةً قَطُّ أَطْيَبُ مِنْ رَائِحَتِهِ: مِسْكَةً وَلَا غَيْرَهَا".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had a radiant, clear complexion. His sweat was like pearls. When he walked, he leaned forward, and I found his palms to be softer and more delicate than silk. I never found a fragrance in musk or ambergris like the fragrance that was in his blessed body.
