باب مَنْ كَرِهَ الشُّهْرَةَ وَالْمَعْرِفَةَ:Chapter: Dislike of Seeking Fame and Recognition
Hadith 553
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الْمُكْتِبُ، حَدَّثَنَا قَاسِمُ هُوَ ابْنُ مَالِكٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، قَالَ: "كَانَ إِذَا جَلَسَ إِلَيْهِ الرَّجُلُ أَوْ الرَّجُلَانِ، قَامَ فَتَنَحَّى".
Laith narrated that when one or two people would sit with Imam Tawus (may Allah have mercy on him), he would stand up and move away from there.
