باب مَنْ كَرِهَ الشُّهْرَةَ وَالْمَعْرِفَةَ:Chapter: Dislike of Seeking Fame and Recognition
Hadith 541
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: "كَانُوا يَكْرَهُونَ أَنْ تُوطَأَ أَعْقَابُهُمْ".
It is narrated from Mansur (bin al-Mu'tamir) that Ibrahim said: The predecessors disliked walking behind (others).
