أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، قَالَ: "جَهَدْنَا بِإِبْرَاهِيمَ حَتَّى أَنْ نُجْلِسَهُ إِلَى سَارِيَةٍ، فَأَبَى".
A‘mash (Sulaiman bin Mehran) said: We tried to make Imam Ibrahim Nakha‘i (may Allah have mercy on him) sit by the pillar, but he refused.
