باب مَنْ رَخَّصَ في كِتَابَةِ الْعِلْمِ:Chapter: Permission to Write Knowledge
Hadith 513
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: "مَا يُرَغِّبُنِي فِي الْحَيَاةِ إِلَّا الصَّادِقَةُ وَالْوَهْطُ، فَأَمَّا الصَّادِقَةُ، فَصَحِيفَةٌ كَتَبْتُهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَمَّا الْوَهْطُ، فَأَرْضٌ تَصَدَّقَ بِهَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ كَانَ يَقُومُ عَلَيْهَا".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: In my life, nothing is dearer and more beloved to me than Sadiqah and Wahat. «صادقه» is a collection of hadith and that scroll which I wrote from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and «وهط» is that land in Ta’if which (my respected father) Amr bin al-As gave in charity, upon which they used to work.
