باب مَنْ رَخَّصَ في كِتَابَةِ الْعِلْمِ:Chapter: Permission to Write Knowledge
Hadith 503
أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاق، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قَبِيلٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ حَوْلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَكْتُبُ إِذْ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَيُّ الْمَدِينَتَيْنِ تُفْتَحُ أَوَّلًا: قُسْطَنْطِينِيَّةُ، أَوْ رُومِيَّةُ ؟، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "لَا، بَلْ مَدِينَةُ هِرَقْلَ أَوَّلًا".
Abu Qabeel said: I heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) say: We were sitting around the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) writing, when suddenly the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked: Which city will be conquered first, Constantinople or Rome? The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "No, the city of Heraclius will be conquered first." (That is, Rome).
