باب مَنْ رَخَّصَ في كِتَابَةِ الْعِلْمِ:Chapter: Permission to Write Knowledge
Hadith 500
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، يَقُولُ: "لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكْثَرَ حَدِيثًا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنِّي، إِلَّا مَا كَانَ مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْتُبُ، وَلَا أَكْتُبُ".
Wahb bin Munabbih narrated from his brother that he heard Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) say: There is no one among the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) who has more of his hadith than I do, except for Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him), because he used to write them down and I did not write.
