أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا
يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا
أَشْعَثُ، عَنْ
كُرْدُوسٍ، عَنْ
عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ:
"إِنَّ لِلْقُلُوبِ لَنَشَاطًا وَإِقْبَالًا، وَإِنَّ لَهَا تَوْلِيَةً وَإِدْبَارًا، فَحَدِّثُوا النَّاسَ مَا أَقْبَلُوا عَلَيْكُمْ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: People experience times of joy and eagerness, and also times of indifference and weariness, so narrate hadith to people when they are attentive to you (i.e., when they are eager and lively).
