Qatadah said: Imam Muhammad bin Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated a hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to a man, so that man said: So-and-so has said it like this? Imam Ibn Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I narrate to you the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and you say that so-and-so has said this? I will never speak to you again.
