Habib bin Thabit said that we were with Saeed bin Jubair, may Allah have mercy on him, when he narrated a hadith. So a man asked him: Did someone narrate this hadith to you? Or from whom did you hear it? At this, Saeed, may Allah have mercy on him, became upset and forbade us from speaking to that man until he got up and left.
