أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ، قَالَ: قَالَ لِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: "إِنِّي لَأَحْسَبُ الرَّجُلَ يَنْسَى الْعِلْمَ كَانَ يَعْلَمُهُ لِلْخَطِيئَةِ كَانَ يَعْمَلُهَا".
Qasim said: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said to me: I think that when a man possesses knowledge, then because of the sin he commits, he forgets that knowledge.
