باب في خَتْمِ الْقُرْآنِ:Chapter on completing the Quran
Hadith 3507

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدَةَ، قَالَ: "إِذَا خَتَمَ الرَّجُلُ الْقُرْآنَ بِنَهَارٍ، صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ، وَإِنْ فَرَغَ مِنْهُ لَيْلًا، صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ".
Abdah said: When a person completes the Holy Qur'an during the day, the angels pray for him until the evening, and if he finishes his recitation at night, the angels pray for him until the morning.
