باب مَنْ قَرَأَ مِنْ مِائَةِ آيَةٍ إِلَى الأَلْفِ:Chapter on one who recites from one hundred to one thousand verses
Hadith 3492
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا فِطْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: "مَنْ قَرَأَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ ثَلَاثَ مِائَةِ آيَةٍ، كُتِبَ لَهُ قِنْطَارٌ، وَمَنْ قَرَأَ سَبْعَ مِائَةِ آيَةٍ"، لَا أَدْرِي أَيَّ شَيْءٍ قَالَ فِيهَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ بِقَوْلِهِ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever recites three hundred verses in the night, a qintar (of reward) is written for him, and whoever recites seven hundred verses, I do not know what he said about him; regarding this, Abu Nu’aim added from himself.
