Abu Aqil reported that he heard Sa'id bin al-Musayyib, may Allah have mercy on him, say: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites «﴿قُلْ هُوَ اللّٰهُ أَحَدٌ﴾» (Surah al-Ikhlas) ten times, a palace will be built for him in Paradise because of it; and whoever recites it twenty times, two palaces will be built for him because of it; and whoever recites it thirty times, three palaces will be his in Paradise." Upon this, Sayyiduna 'Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "Then, O Messenger of Allah, we will build many palaces!" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah is even more expansive than that." Abu Muhammad Imam al-Darimi, may Allah have mercy on him, said: Abu Aqil's name is Zahrah bin Ma'bad, and it was said that he was among the Abdal (the spiritually elevated saints).
