Hadith 3456
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ عِيسَى، عَنْ مَعْنٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ"يَقْرَأُ الْمُسَبِّحَاتِ عِنْدَ النَّوْمِ، وَيَقُولُ: "إِنَّ فِيهِنَّ آيَةً تَعْدِلُ أَلْفَ آيَةٍ".
Khalid bin Ma'dan said: The Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) used to recite the Musabbihat (i.e., the Surahs that begin with «سبح، يسبح») at the time of sleeping, and he used to say: "There is one verse among them that is equal to a thousand verses."
