أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُرَّةَ، يَقُولُ: "أُتِيَ رَجُلٌ فِي قَبْرِهِ، فَأُتِيَ جَانِبُ قَبْرِهِ، فَجَعَلَتْ سُورَةٌ مِنْ الْقُرْآنِ ثَلَاثُونَ آيَةً تُجَادِلُ عَنْهُ، حَتَّى قَالَ: فَنَظَرْنَا أَنَا وَمَسْرُوقٌ، فَلَمْ نَجِدْ فِي الْقُرْآنِ سُورَةً ثَلَاثِينَ آيَةً إِلَّا تَبَارَكَ".
It is narrated from Amr bin Murrah, he heard from his father Murrah, who said: A man was buried in his grave, punishment came towards his grave, then a surah of thirty verses came and began to defend him. The narrator said: I and Masruq considered, and did not find any surah with thirty verses except «تبارك».
