Khalid bin Ma'dan said: Recite the saving Surah. It has reached me that there was a man who used to recite it, and did not recite anything else. He was very sinful. This Surah spread its wings over that person and requested Allah: O Lord! This man used to recite me abundantly. So Allah accepted its intercession and said: For every sin of his, write a good deed and raise him one rank. (In some versions, after "saving" there is «الم تنزيل السجدة»). That is, this Surah is the saving one.
