باب فَضْلِ أَوَّلِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ وَآيَةِ الْكُرْسِيِّ:Chapter on the virtue of the beginning of Al-Baqarah and Ayat Al-Kursi
Hadith 3420
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "مَنْ قَرَأَ الْآيَتَيْنِ الْآخِرَتَيْنِ مِنْ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ، كَفَتَاهُ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, they will suffice for him." In Sahih Bukhari it is stated: "Whoever recites the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at night, they will suffice him (to protect him from every calamity)."
