Mughira bin Sabi’, who was among the students of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him), said: Whoever recites ten verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at bedtime will not forget the Holy Qur’an. These verses are: the first four verses, Ayat al-Kursi and the two verses after it, and the last three verses. Ishaq said: He will not forget what he has memorized. Imam Darimi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Some have called the narrator Mughira bin Sami’.
