Hadith 3392

Sayyiduna Jundub bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Recite the Noble Qur'an as long as your heart is inclined towards it, but when your heart becomes disinterested, then stop reciting.

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadiths 3390 to 3392)

The translation of this hadith has also been rendered as follows: Recite the Noble Qur’an as long as your hearts are united and there is no intention of discord and strife. But when you fall into disagreement and the intention of repetition and discord arises, then stand up and cease reciting the Qur’an.

How evil it is to let disagreement reach the point of strife—this is evident from this.

If only Muslims would reflect upon this (Raz rahimahullah).
