Hadith 3390

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ شُيُوخِ مِصْرَ، أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: "الْقُرْآنُ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Noble Qur'an is more beloved and dearer to Allah Almighty than the earth, the heavens, and whatever is between them."
Brief Explanation

From all these ahadith, the virtue of the Speech of Allah, the Mighty, is understood.
May Allah Ta'ala grant everyone the ability to recite the Qur'an with reflection and understanding, to ponder over it, and then to act upon it. Ameen.
