Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 3367) The meaning is that upon returning home, there should be nothing preventing one from reciting just three verses of the Noble Qur’an, so that goodness and blessings may prevail in the home, and Allah’s mercy and the angels of mercy may descend upon that house. It has been mentioned previously that whoever recites two verses of the Noble Qur’an will receive a reward equivalent to that of two pregnant, robust she-camels. All these are the statements and reports of the Companions (radi Allahu anhum) and the Followers (tabi‘in) which highlight the importance of the Noble Qur’an and encourage its recitation.
