باب فَضْلِ مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ:Chapter on the virtue of reciting the Quran
Hadith 3361
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَمِّي إِيَاسَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ، يَقُولُ: أَخَذَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ بِيَدِي، ثُمَّ قَالَ: "إِنَّكَ إِنْ بَقِيتَ، سَيَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ ثَلَاثَةُ أَصْنَافٍ: فَصِنْفٌ لِلَّهِ، وَصِنْفٌ لِلْجِدَالِ، وَصِنْفٌ لِلدُّنْيَا، وَمَنْ طَلَبَ بِهِ أَدْرَكَ".
Iyas bin Amir says: Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) held my hand and then said: If you live (long enough, you will see that) three types of people will recite the Qur'an: one group will recite the Qur'an for Allah, one group for argument and debate, and one group will recite it for the world, and whoever recites it for worldly gain will attain what he seeks.
