باب فَضْلِ مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ:Chapter on the virtue of reciting the Quran
Hadith 3357
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النُّجُودِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ: أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ كَانَ يَقُولُ: "يَجِيءُ الْقُرْآنُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيَشْفَعُ لِصَاحِبِهِ، فَيَكُونُ لَهُ قَائِدًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ، وَيَشْهَدُ عَلَيْهِ، وَيَكُونُ لَهُ سَائِقًا إِلَى النَّارِ".
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say: On the Day of Resurrection, the Noble Qur'an will come and intercede for its reciter, and will guide him towards Paradise, will bear witness for him, and will drive him away from Hell.
