باب فَضْلِ مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ:Chapter on the virtue of reciting the Quran
Hadith 3339
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مسْلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سِنَانٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: "إِنَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ مَأْدُبَةُ اللَّهِ، فَخُذُوا مِنْهُ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ، فَإِنِّي لَا أَعْلَمُ شَيْئًا أَصْفَرَ مِنْ خَيْرٍ، مِنْ بَيْتٍ لَيْسَ فِيهِ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ شَيْءٌ، وَإِنَّ الْقَلْبَ الَّذِي لَيْسَ فِيهِ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ شَيْءٌ، خَرِبٌ كَخَرَابِ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي لَا سَاكِنَ لَهُ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: This Noble Qur’an is the banquet of Allah Almighty, so take from it as much as you can. To my knowledge, there is no house more in need than the one in which there is not a portion of Allah’s Book. Indeed, the heart in which there is nothing from the Book of Allah is desolate, like a house in which no one lives.
